The story unfolds in Almaty, in the Safin family, around the young daughter-in-law Ainur, who does not always get along with her mother-in-law, who moved from the village, because of the contradictory views on life. Ainur is sure that modern views on family life should be relevant in the 21st century, and the mother-in-law, on the contrary, adheres to the established traditions and customs of her ancestors. Despite the urban environment of upbringing and the difference in worldviews, Ainur demonstrates complaisance of character and well manners, thanks to which her relationship with the “eneshka” acquires a unique character – they eventually become best friends.
