Yaonan Liu, Director of Content Cooperation at Beijing Filmtag Technology Development, presented the new drama series “I Know I Love You” during China Day at the World Content Market – Moscow this spring. The series tells the story of Xu Nuo, a florist disillusioned by a decade of failed romances, and Zhao Jin, a veterinarian also facing life challenges. Despite social pressures pushing them toward arranged marriages, they develop a deep bond, with love gradually pulling them together as they try to stay platonic friends. Xu Nuo finds emotional healing, and Zhao Jin discovers happiness he has never felt before, but their relationship is tested as societal expectations mount.
Beijing Filmtag has already built strong connections with Russian buyers, with the success of “Born to Fly”, directed by Liu Xiaoshi, marking a notable entry into the Russian market in June 2023. By 2024, the film was available on several Russian TV channels and OTT platforms, reflecting its ongoing popularity.
The Russian audience eagerly anticipates more Chinese titles from the company.
