Short description: Crossed Paths, remake of the classic by Cassiano Gabus Mendes, shown in 1982, brings the proposal of female multi-protagonism and based on the concept of friendship. The plot has events and the contours of a telenovela, including two deaths under suspicious circumstances, swapping babies in the hospital, mysterious paternity generated by a rape, love triangles, unfair arrests, schemes to separate couples in love and betrayals involving friends. There are seven protagonists with parallel stories, but almost always connected. To update the plot, the version features independent and professionally active women from different ethnicities, marital statuses and social classes.
