Moscow 2024: B2B meetings for TV business leaders from friendly countries

Once again, the World Content Market – Moscow, the only TV & Digital content market in Russia, will be held from 28th to 30th May 2024 in the Event Hall “InfoSpace”, located in the heart of Moscow.

This spring, within the framework of cooperation with friendly countries, TV business leaders from China, Türkiye, India, Iran and the UAE will meet TV broadcasters, OTT platforms, producers and distributors from Russia. They will discuss content sales and coproduction opportunities with Russian partners.

During 3 intensive days, 1500+ delegates representing 500+ companies from 20+ countries will meet to close big deals. 100+ exhibitors will offer fresh content of all genres for all audiences. 150+ TV broadcasters (all platforms), 40+ OTT platforms and 180+ distributors be looking for new content, available for broadcasting in Russia.

CHINA PAVILON is organized by NRTA and Wings Media /SMG. 15 Chinese companies will be located on 150M2 CHINA PAVILION area, closed to the main entrance and main passage of the venue. INDIA PAVILION is organized by MEAI, a national level trade body serving the promotion of the media and entertainment industry of India. 10 Indian companies are located in the MEAI Pavilion and individual stands. INDIACAST MEDIA DISTRIBUTION PVT LTD / VIACOM18, ZEE ENTERTAINMENT ENTERPRISES LIMITED, SHEMAROO ENTERTAINMENT, ULTRA MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT, ONE LIFE STUDIOS, GOQUEST MEDIA are a part of India delegation.

The conference program is focused on content monetization, development and distribution and includes different sessions: “The phenomenon of Korean entertainment content. Reasons for global success”, “TV viewing trends on regional TV in Russia”, “Commercial animation. How to make money from animation today”, Animation pitching of members of Russian Animated Film Association (RAFA) and others.

MOSCOW SERIES, the premium showcase of new drama series, available for broadcasting in Russia, will be held on 28^th and 29^th May. The event provides Russian top buyers an exclusive first look at a selection of new drama series and help them to choose premium drama from Türkiye, MENA and Asia for their broadcasting schedulers.

This year, China and Russia celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. On 29^th May, CHINA DAY, CHINA: WHERE STORIES EVOLVE includes a number of events focused on cooperation in television and digital content business. During the Forum “New Opportunities for China-Russia Audiovisual Media Cooperation”, Chinese and Russian TV industry leaders will discuss important cooperation topics. Mr. Yang Guorui, Vice Minister of the National Radio and Television Administration of China (NRTA) will open the forum. The forum will end with a ceremony of signing cooperation agreements between Russia and China. Participants will enjoy networking cocktail party and entertainment program. “China: where stories evolve. Fresh Content China Showcase” with presentation of new content from 11 exhibitors of China Pavilion is a part of the program.

Presentations of the IRAN PAVILION and INDIA PAVILION will highlight new content offers and coproduction opportunities.
