‘Sleepers’ are young people sent to the police academy by criminal organizations to infiltrate the police. The corrupt cop Martin maneuvers between the underworld of Utrecht and the upper world of the criminal investigation department. While his best friend Willem and newcomer Dwight Martin move more and more into the underworld, Martin must keep a mask on with his wife Noura, who herself is a skilled detective in the internal affairs of the police.
