ARB Gunesh, the first and only children’s channel in Azerbaijan, started operating on April 1, 2015. The channel, which dedicates its air time entirely to children, presents cartoons and educational TV programs in Azerbaijani to the country’s young viewers. Famous characters created by ARB Gunesh impart educational knowledge and rules of behavior to children. Currently, the channel broadcasts programs such as “Charpalang”, “Marjangilda”, “What will the weather be like?” and “Filmfakt”, which are loved and watched by children. The programs broadcast on the TV channel are prepared to take into account the age psychology of children. A professional dubbing studio operates in ARB Gunesh. Cartoons and animated films in foreign languages are translated into Azerbaijani and presented. The television, which cooperates effectively with many state institutions, is not only entertaining and educational but also has social projects. Among the thematic television channels operating in the country, ARB Gunesh is the leader in ratings.
