The story begins when Sinan sets sail on a boat with his father and his father’s wealthy friend Şahin. They were caught in a storm at sea. Sinan manages to save Şahin but unfortunately loses his father.
Unable to get rid of the loss of his father and the guilt he feels for not being able to save him, Sinan decides to leave the village. After completing his education and military service, he returns to the village.
Şahin brings Sinan, to whom he owes his life, to the management of his company. After Sinan and Şahin’s beautiful wife Bahar meet, they fall in love with each other. The two young people can’t resist their feelings and start to get close.
On the other hand, Bahar’s older brother Harun and Sinan’s older brother Niyazi fall in love with the Kurdish girl Buke, who comes to the village as a seasonal worker. This will cause hostility between the two families.
Niyazi’s mother is against her son marrying Buke, but the family still goes to meet the Buke family. The same night, Buke’s troubled cousin Serhat, who is also in love with her, kills Sinan and Niyazi’s younger brother, mistaking them for Niyazi.
Despite the dramatic night, Buke and Niyazi get engaged. Niyazi’s mother constantly says that she is responsible for the death of her son Ahmet. On the other hand, Bahar and Sinan get closer over time, and this relationship turns into a dangerous love.
