On 15 April, World Content Market – Moscow 2026 hosted AI FEST, a dedicated program focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of television.
The sessions examined how AI is already transforming content production, distribution, and monetization, and how these changes are expected to accelerate in the near future.
Valeria Blinkova, video editor at MUZ-TV, addressed the rapid development of AI-driven infotainment, highlighting how neural networks are reshaping production processes that previously required large teams and significant budgets.
Yuri Chernyshev, Creative Producer at U-TV Channel, focused on the human aspect of content creation in the digital era. Drawing on audience research, he emphasized that while AI can optimize performance metrics, understanding real viewer needs remains a uniquely human strength. He presented AI as a tool to enhance creativity rather than replace it.
Denis Smirnov, Head of High-Tech Solutions Integration at Kirillitsa, demonstrated how AI can be used to scale content production without increasing team size. Using real-world examples, he showed how editing, updating, and voice processes can be automated, enabling faster production and more efficient workflows.
Anton Vorykhalov, Business Development Director at Blooper.ai, presented an overview of the global and Russian generative AI landscape, mapping more than 230 startups and outlining emerging business models.
Kristina Shendolesova, Producer at YASNAe TV, Beltelecom, shared practical experience from Belarus, illustrating how AI has moved from experimentation to full integration into production workflows.
AI FEST confirmed that artificial intelligence is already a working tool in the television industry.
In 2027, the AI FEST program will be expanded to include international AI developers. The program will feature screenings, presentations, and pitching sessions, further connecting technology and content creation.
