Terra Nostra, by Benedito Ruy Barbosa, is one of Globo’s best-selling telenovelas and portrays the saga of Italian immigration to Brazil, featuring a powerful love story between Matteo (Thiago Lacerda) and Giuliana (Ana Paula Arósio). In Caribbean Flower, by Walther Negrão, friends Alberto (Igor Rickli) and Cassiano (Henri Castelli) are in love with the same woman. “We are very happy to participate in the World Content Market, bringing the best of our content to the region. The Russian audience has always connected deeply with our productions, which highlights the universality of the themes in our stories. We look forward to reconnecting with partners and opening new discussions to bring Globo’s telenovelas to new audiences,” says Guilherme Jordão, Content Distribution & Partnerships at Globo, who will be present at the event.
