Russia’s Alfa-Bank is planning to launch its own video streaming platform by the end of 2026, featuring AI-generated videos, microdramas and entertainment shows with celebrities.
According to sources at the bank, the new platform may offer both original productions and acquired content, potentially creating new opportunities for content producers and distributors.
Alfa-Bank is already in talks with video production companies and is evaluating potential projects for the platform. The planned launch could introduce a new player to Russia’s digital content market, with a particular focus on short-form entertainment and AI-generated programming.
