Russia’s leading pay-TV operator Tricolor has acquired the Turkish drama series “Love & Sin” (Aşk ve Günah) from Kanal D International for broadcast in Russia. Kanal D International has successfully participated in World Content Market in Moscow and Almaty, presenting its drama catalogue to buyers from Russia and across the CIS.

Tricolor is Russia’s largest pay-TV operator, providing satellite and internet television services to more than 12.3 million households. The company also operates its own television channels and the Tricolor Kino i TV streaming platform, offering movies, series and other entertainment content.

From 12 October 2026, Tricolor’s own TV channel Bolshoy Efir is broadcasting the 120-episode Turkish family saga “Love & Sin,” marking the series’ Russian television premiere. The drama explores passion, betrayal and family secrets that threaten to destroy even the strongest marriage.

Kerim is a successful businessman with a loving wife, Selda, and three children. On the day of an important tender, he becomes the target of an armed attack. His driver shields him from a bullet and is killed. Feeling responsible for the family of the man who saved his life, Kerim takes care of his widow Fatma and daughter Nesrin, inviting them to live in his home. From that moment, the family’s seemingly stable life begins to fall apart. Nesrin quickly becomes accustomed to a life of luxury and decides to take Selda’s place at Kerim’s side. She drives a wedge between the couple and discovers an 18-year-old secret that the businessman’s wife has kept hidden from him for years. What begins as a family melodrama develops into a tense story of jealousy, betrayal and the consequences of fateful decisions.

The series stars Turkish actors Tekin Temel, Seren Deniz Yalçın and Türkan Kılıç. Produced by D Yapım, the drama premiered in Türkiye on Kanal D in 2015 and is distributed internationally under the title “Love & Sin.”
