Gigi Wang, Director of Distribution at Drama Apple Limited, presented the new drama series “A Date with the Future” at the China Day event during the World Content Market – Moscow this spring.
The series stars William Chan and Zhang Ruonan, telling the story of firefighter Jin Shichuan and Xu Lai, who meet during an earthquake rescue mission. To calm Xu Lai, Jin Shichuan makes her a 10-year promise. A decade later, Xu Lai returns as a journalist and search dog trainer, reuniting with Jin Shichuan, now a fire station captain, to fulfill that promise.
The series premiered on 2nd June 2023, on Jiangsu TV and Tencent in China, and aired simultaneously on Viu, WeTV, Starhub, Astro, Viki, and various platforms across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the USA.
Drama Apple Limited is steadily expanding its presence in Russia.
