Synopsis
People in 13th-century Anatolia live in fear. With the grim memories of the Crusades still fresh, the Mongol threat now looms large. Those who seek to seize the throne fuel both internal conflict and war, while a spiritual figure capable of calming the fears of the people comes to the fore: Hz. Mevlana.
This wise man, whose words transcend the ages, invites society toward reason and heartfelt wisdom through his stance, knowledge, conversations, and works.
Beginning with the Mongol siege of Erzurum in 1242, the series follows the turmoil of the Seljuk Empire alongside Hz. Mevlana’s inner journey and the empire’s transformation.
