Russian entertainment holding ON Media has reported continued growth for its streaming platform KION, with the service’s total audience reaching 15.9 million users in the second quarter of 2026.

According to the company, KION remained the main driver of ON Media’s business growth, contributing to consolidated quarterly revenue of RUB 6.9 billion, up 12.6% year-on-year. The platform added one million new users across OTT, cable, satellite and IPTV services during the quarter.

The company attributed the platform’s strong performance to the continued expansion of its OTT and television services, as well as investment in original content. The number of OTT subscribers increased by 6.9% to 10.5 million, while the number of long-term subscribers using the service for more than six months grew by 14%.

ON Media also reported strong growth in its live entertainment business. Through its Ticketland and Ticketscloud platforms, the company sold tickets worth RUB 7.9 billion during the quarter, with concerts accounting for the largest share of sales. Cinema ticket sales through Ticketland increased by 33% compared to the same period last year.

The latest results underline the continued expansion of Russia’s streaming market, where investment in original productions and multi-platform distribution remains a key strategy for attracting and retaining audiences.
