This summer, NTV Channel, one of the leading Russian terrestrial TV channels, began broadcasting the second season of the Turkish series “Golden Boy” (Yalı Çapkını). Notably, last summer, NTV aired the first season of this popular series.

“Golden Boy” has indeed become a significant addition to the programming of NTV Channel, marking a continued interest in Turkish dramas among Russian audiences. The series has captivated viewers with its rich storyline and complex characters, particularly the portrayal of Halis Agha, a patriarch whose influence permeates both his family and the business empire he built from the ground up. This type of family-centric drama, with its blend of authority, tradition, and modern challenges, resonates deeply with many viewers.

NTV’s decision to continue airing “Golden Boy” suggests that the series has found a solid fan base, and it may also reflect a broader trend of cultural exchange through television between Türkiye and Russia.
