Oleg Rubtsov, a major of FATS (Federal Anti-Terrorist Service), a senior agent of the secret unit codenamed «Detachment 018» and going under the operational pseudonym «Pilgrim», loses everything overnight — work, friends, relatives and most importantly — the ability to live using his real name. As a result of a betrayal, Squad 018’s database becomes compromised, and almost all of its agents are killed by terrorists. Rubtsov, one of the few surviving agents, accepts the new rules of life to avoid the terrorists’ revenge.
