On 23rd July, the popular anime series “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” premiered on Hit TV Channel in Russia.
Created by Yasuhito Kikuchi and Yasuhiro Ito, the series tells the story of Satoru Minami, an ordinary 37-year-old man who dies and is unexpectedly reincarnated in a fantasy world — not as a hero or warrior, but as a seemingly insignificant slime. Despite his unusual new form, he quickly discovers unique abilities that allow him to adapt, evolve and navigate this new world.
Blending fantasy, adventure and humor, the series follows his journey as he builds alliances, encounters powerful enemies and gradually transforms from the weakest creature into a key figure in a complex fantasy universe.
“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” has gained international popularity thanks to its engaging storyline and strong character development. The launch of the series on Hit TV Channel reflects the growing demand for anime content across television platforms, where younger audiences increasingly seek alternative storytelling formats beyond traditional drama.
