Kazakhstan-based OTT platform Freedom Media will take part in World Content Market – Almaty 2026, presenting its streaming service integrated within the Freedom SuperApp ecosystem.

The service is positioned as one of the first streaming platforms globally to operate within a SuperApp environment, allowing users to access films, series, sports, and TV content without switching between applications. The platform combines entertainment with financial and digital services within a single ecosystem.

At launch, Freedom Media’s library includes more than 4,000 titles, ranging from Hollywood releases to documentaries and local productions. The company has signed direct agreements with major international studios, contributing to one of the largest catalogues of international content available in Kazakhstan and the wider region.

In addition to international acquisitions, the platform is developing its local content offering, with a focus on original productions in the Kazakh language. Freedom Media is also investing in Kazakh-language dubbing, with an in-house team adapting international content for local audiences, aiming to expand access to global titles for Kazakh-speaking viewers.

According to the company, Freedom Media plans to invest approximately $50 million in the development of the platform over the next five years as part of the broader Freedom digital ecosystem.

At World Content Market – Almaty, the company will meet with content partners and distributors to further expand its catalogue and international cooperation.
