Japanese broadcaster TV TOKYO will present its updated catalogue of titles for Kazakhstan and the CIS at World Content Market – Almaty 2026, reinforcing its focus on regional demand for anime and scripted content.
The company’s animation slate will include a mix of globally established franchises and genre titles such as “Naruto”, “Boruto”, “Gintama”, “Shaman King”, and “Soul Eater”, alongside series including “Aria”, “Blue Dragon”, “Burning Kabaddi”, “My Guardian Characters (Shugo Chara)”, “Sergeant Keroro”, and “Shinkalion”.

In addition to animation, TV TOKYO will also present a range of live-action titles, including “All but Divorced”, “Baby Assassins”, “Dear My Baby”, “Flowers of Evil”, “Junji Ito Live-Action Collection”, “Please Die, My Beloved”, “Until I Destroyed My Husband’s Family”, and “We are Bad Brothers”.
The updated slate will reflect continued demand in the CIS for Japanese anime, which remains a stable acquisition category for both linear channels and streaming platforms, as well as growing interest in Japanese scripted content.
During the market, TV TOKYO will hold meetings with broadcasters, OTT platforms, and distributors from across the region to discuss content acquisitions and cooperation opportunities.
