Khabar Agency will take part in World Content Market – Almaty 2026 to acquire new content from international distributors and strengthen partnerships across Central Asia.
The Agency is one of Kazakhstan’s leading media groups, operating a “TV family” of two channels: the flagship socio-political channel Khabar and the 24-hour news channel 24KZ.
The channel Khabar offers a broad mix of programming, including news, TV series, entertainment shows, documentaries, and feature films, combining locally produced content with acquired international titles. Each year, the Agency commissions up to 190 episodes of domestically produced series across a wide range of genres, including melodrama, comedy, historical and biographical drama, as well as factual and entertainment formats.
At the same time, Khabar Agency is a major buyer of international content, actively acquiring and broadcasting foreign TV series, feature films, documentaries, and entertainment formats. Key genres include drama, romance, crime, historical series, and family entertainment, reflecting strong audience demand in Kazakhstan.
The 24-hour channel 24KZ provides continuous coverage of national and international news, including live reports, breaking news, and analytical programming, targeting audiences seeking up-to-date information.
At World Content Market – Almaty, Khabar Agency will meet with international distributors to source new programming and strengthen its content offering across both channels.
