The National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan (NTRK) will take part in the upcoming World Content Market – Almaty 2026 for three days of meetings and acquisition discussions.
As Uzbekistan’s main state broadcaster, NTRK operates a network of 12 television channels and manages a diverse portfolio spanning news, cultural programming, education, and entertainment. In recent years, the company has been actively expanding its content strategy as part of the country’s broader media modernization efforts.
International partnerships have become an increasingly important focus, with NTRK continuing to explore new formats and strengthen its programming offering through acquisitions. The broadcaster maintains a strong interest in foreign content, particularly Turkish, Indian, Korean, and Chinese drama series, as well as documentaries and adaptable entertainment formats suited to local audiences.
At the World Content Market – Almaty, NTRK representatives are expected to meet with international distributors, review new catalogues, and identify acquisition opportunities for their channels.
