Chinese animation studio Fantawild Animation will bring its latest feature film, «Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector», to Russian cinemas in early June. The theatrical release will be handled by Central Partnership.
Fantawild Animation participated in World Content Market – Moscow 2026, where the company presented its catalogue to buyers from Russia and the CIS.
The film follows the mischievous bear brothers Briar and Bramble, who encounter the legendary Nian — a mythical creature from ancient folklore. After receiving mysterious powers, they find themselves in a hidden magical dimension, where they must learn to control their abilities in order to return home.
Produced by Fantawild Animation, the film continues the success of the “Boonie Bears” franchise, which is already well known to audiences in Russia.
