At the World Content Market — Moscow, Beijing Filmtag Technology Development exhibited in the China Pavilion and held meetings with partners from Russia and the CIS region.

Founded in Beijing by industry veterans, the company brings together a team with decades of experience in the media and entertainment sector, focusing on the international development of Chinese content.

Beijing Filmtag Technology Development specializes in IP incubation, film and TV distribution, social media operations, and KOL marketing. The company has built a multi-channel, multi-level global network, providing one-stop overseas social media solutions and enabling content to reach audiences in multiple languages across more than 200 countries and regions.

The team closely follows the development of international streaming platforms and applies new technologies to optimize content distribution. The company operates several high-performing channels on YouTube and Facebook, with millions of subscribers and over 100 million views.

Over the past years, Filmtag Technology has successfully distributed the TV series «The Three-Body» (Tencent version), as well as the films «Born to Fly», «High Forces», and «I Am T-Rex» in Russia, strengthening its presence in the local market.

In 2026, the company plans to further expand its activities in Russia by introducing a wider range of content genres popular with local audiences, including long-form series, mini-series, micro-dramas, feature films, and web-based films. At the same time, Filmtag Technology aims to bring China’s trending AIGC content to the market and develop partnerships with local IP rights holders, production companies, online platforms, technology firms, and distributors. These collaborations may include joint IP development, co-productions, content distribution, franchising, and merchandise.

At the China Audio-Visual Salon, during the «Fresh Content China» session, Yaonan Liu, Director of Content Cooperation at Beijing Filmtag Technology Development, presented the company’s focus on film and drama series. Featured projects included «Formed Police Unit» and «Glory Back».

The program also featured the «China Premium Micro-Drama Screening», followed by a cocktail reception, focusing on one of the fastest-growing content trends — Chinese vertical microdrama. During this session, Yaonan Liu presented projects in the vertical microdrama genre, including «My Brave Crown Princess» and «The Double-Faced Nanny».
