RuFilms has entered its own documentary Translating Film: The Battle of Intelligences into festival competition. The first event to include the film in its lineup is the Kazan International Film Festival ZILANT, set for May 22-24, 2026.
The project spotlights the work of audiovisual translators and editors, dubbing artists, and record producers adapting foreign content for Russian audiences. It discusses the challenges faced by these professionals amid the rise and widespread adoption of AI.
