Turkish distributor Raya Distribution has added a new drama series, “Who Are We Now» (» Yeni Hayat”) to the catalog it will present to Russian and CIS buyers at the World Content Market — Moscow 2026.
The 10 x 45-minute drama follows the intertwined destinies of three women — İclal, Elvan, and Semra — whose lives collide in a women’s prison in 1989. Each has been convicted under very different circumstances: one unjustly imprisoned, another for a crime she considered inevitable, and the third condemned by a system that left her no alternative.
Bound by fate, the three women form a powerful bond behind bars. A sudden tragedy creates an unexpected opportunity for escape, allowing them to disappear into a remote town called New Life, where they assume new identities and attempt to rebuild their lives.
In their new reality, they rediscover friendship, love, and solidarity, gradually healing from the past. However, their fragile new beginning is soon threatened as figures from their past begin to close in, while the arrival of a former inmate risks exposing their secrets.
At the market, Raya Group Distribution is expected to hold meetings with regional broadcasters, OTT platforms and distributors, presenting its latest catalogue and exploring new licensing and partnership opportunities.
