Japanese broadcaster TV TOKYO has updated its catalogue of titles available for broadcasting in Russia and the CIS ahead of World Content Market – Moscow 2026, reinforcing its focus on the region’s demand for anime and scripted content.
The company’s animation slate includes a mix of globally established franchises and genre titles such as “Naruto”, “Boruto”, “Gintama”, “Shaman King” and “Soul Eater”, alongside series including “Aria”, “Blue Dragon”, “Burning Kabaddi”, “My Guardian Characters (Shugo Chara)”, “Sergeant Keroro” and “Shinkalion”.
Alongside animation, TV TOKYO is also offering a range of live-action titles to buyers, including “All but Divorced”, “Baby Assassins”, “Dear My Baby”, “Flowers of Evil”, “Junji Ito Live-Action Collection”, “Please Die, My Beloved”, “Until I Destroyed My Husband’s Family” and “We are Bad Brothers”.
The updated slate reflects continued demand in Russia and the CIS for Japanese anime, which remains a stable acquisition category for both linear channels and streaming platforms, as well as growing interest in Japanese scripted formats.
TV TOKYO will present its catalogue at World Content Market – Moscow, where the company is expected to meet broadcasters, OTT platforms and distributors from across the region to discuss cooperation opportunities.
