But now, as her strength wanes and her dementia worsens, she is preparing to lay down the work of her life. As a daughter who chose to become a shaman herself, Geum-cheon, 68 years old, feels a mix of sadness and concern. Though her mother is now like a child, every single moment they spend together is a blessing to her.
