Japanese anime remains highly popular with Russian audiences, and Russian buyers continue to treat the genre as a reliable acquisition category for both streaming libraries and themed programming slots.
TV TOKYO Corporation will exhibit at the upcoming World Content Market – Moscow in April 2026, bringing a mixed line-up of anime and drama titles aimed at buyers from Russia and the CIS.
The company’s anime offering includes internationally established franchises such as “Naruto” and its sequel “Boruto”, alongside genre titles including “Soul Eater” and “Shaman King”. The slate also features “Blue Dragon” and the action-comedy “Baby Assassins”.
Alongside animation, TV TOKYO is presenting drama series for scripted buyers. The line-up includes “All but Divorced”, a dark comedy in which a couple’s relationship shifts after a murder, “Please Die, My Beloved”, centered on three estranged wives drawn together by a shared crisis, and “Dear My Baby”, which explores obsession and ambition in the entertainment industry.
Russian and CIS buyers will be able to meet the TV TOKYO team at the company’s stand during the market to discuss acquisition opportunities.
