Russian online cinema platform PREMIER, part of Gazprom-Media Holding, has reported its business results for 2025. The video service’s revenue grew by 70% compared to the previous year, while the number of subscribers increased by 20%, reaching 7.2 million users.
In 2025, PREMIER demonstrated an even stronger growth rate than in 2024, when the platform’s revenue rose by 54%. This rapid increase was driven by a new strategy focused on partnerships and maximizing monetization of original content. Successful collaborations and profitable licensing deals for PREMIER’s original series helped significantly boost the platform’s income.
Watch time on PREMIER increased by 18%, while view count grew by 20%. SMART TV remained the platform’s leading viewing device. Russian TV series continued to dominate, watched by more than 90% of PREMIER’s subscribers.
In 2025, PREMIER began its integration with the video service RUTUBE, forming a unified ecosystem based on Gazprom-Media Holding’s digital assets. The merger of two professional teams will enable the exchange of expertise and more effective use of accumulated experience, while RUTUBE’s technical capabilities and broad reach — over 85 million unique users per month — will help PREMIER expand its audience and create multi-format content around its original series.
