Starting 16th January, the popular Turkish drama «EGO» will premiere on LoveStory TV, a channel within the Tricolor media holding, Russia’s largest pay-TV operator with more than 200 channels. While the series has already captured the attention of Russian audiences, its debut on LoveStory TV marks a new chapter in its reach, bringing the emotionally charged storyline to a broader viewership.

Distributed internationally by Calinos Entertainment, «EGO» (short for «Erkeğe Güven Olmaz,» or «No Trust in the Man») explores the emotional and moral collapse that follows a desperate decision. Erhan, on the verge of marrying his fiancée Elif, is blindsided by a sudden financial disaster. Sibel, his powerful and emotionally complex boss, offers a solution—but one that comes with serious personal consequences. What begins as a pragmatic agreement soon turns into an emotionally fraught journey that tests every character’s boundaries and beliefs.

Starring Alperen Duymaz as Erhan, Melisa Aslı Pamuk as Sibel, and Rüya Helin Demirbulut as Elif, «EGO» has become known for its intense performances and intricate emotional storytelling. The series raises powerful questions about love, loyalty, sacrifice, and how far someone is willing to go to protect the people they love—or themselves.

For LoveStory TV, the premiere of «EGO» aligns with the channel’s focus on compelling international dramas that speak to the emotional experiences of everyday life. With a programming lineup that emphasizes character-driven narratives and strong production values, the addition of «EGO» reinforces the channel’s appeal to a core audience looking for gripping, relatable content.
