“Girl in the Glass” (“Camdaki Kiz”) began airing on Russia’s Romantic TV Channel, part of the Tricolor platform, on 12th November.

The Turkish drama, based on real events, follows Nalan — a young woman who appears to lead an ideal life but endures psychological abuse from her controlling mother. Her marriage to Sedat, one of Türkiye’s wealthiest men, seems at first to offer a way out. But the world she enters is far from stable. Behind the façade of a respectable and affluent family lies a network of unresolved trauma, manipulation, and emotional instability.

The series examines how appearances can conceal deep dysfunction and how Nalan navigates a life shaped by expectations, secrecy, and conflicting loyalties. Its arrival on Romantic TV continues the growing presence of Turkish dramas on major Russian broadcasters.
