On 27th November, the World Content Market – Moscow will host the Beijing Film Promotion Conference, an event dedicated to presenting high-quality Chinese films to the Russian-speaking market. Organized by the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), the conference will feature a curated lineup of films known for their genre diversity, visual appeal, and engaging storytelling aimed at Russian audiences.
Speakers will include representatives from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Russian Federation and the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, offering welcome addresses and insights into cultural collaboration. Delegates will also view promotional videos from both Beijing’s film and television sectors and the Beijing International Film Festival.
A special highlight will be a presentation by director Zhang Qi, who will introduce his film “The Great Wind Strike.” The event will conclude with a toast and a networking session featuring refreshments, offering attendees an opportunity to engage directly with Chinese industry representatives.
The Beijing Film Promotion Conference aims to foster stronger audiovisual ties between China and Russia, and promote greater visibility for Chinese cinema in the region.
