The Turkish drama “Reborn” (“Çarpıntı”) began streaming on the Russian OTT platform IVI on 7th September, with new episodes released in Russia simultaneously with the Turkish broadcast in simultaneous translation.
Produced by OGM Pictures and directed by Burcu Alptekin, the series features Kerem Bürsin, Lizge Cömert, Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Deniz Çakır, and Şerif Sezer in leading roles.
The story follows Aslı, a young woman dependent on an artificial heart device, and her mother Hülya. Their lives intersect with the wealthy Alkan family after a fatal accident leads to Aslı receiving a heart transplant. Welcomed into the donor’s family home, Aslı faces mistrust from Aras, the nephew of the household. Their initial hostility evolves into a relationship, only to be shaken by the revelation that the heart Aslı carries once belonged to her twin sister.
