Great news for fans of Turkish historical series! This winter, Tricolor, Russia’s largest direct-to-home provider broadcasting over 200 TV channels, will air the fourth season of the grand Turkish historical series “The Ottoman” (“Kuruluş Osman”) on the Romantic TV Channel.

At the heart of the story is the young Osman I Ghazi, who continues the legacy of his legendary father, Ertuğrul (the protagonist of the series “Resurrection: Ertuğrul”). Osman inherits the right to rule over Phrygia. Under his leadership, his army conquers numerous territories, laying the foundation for one of the greatest empires in history. However, before achieving this, Osman must overcome numerous trials: fierce clashes with Mongol and Byzantine commanders, treacherous intrigues, internal conflicts, tragic losses, and decisive battles.

The events of the fourth season unfold in the early 14th century across two main locations: the lands of the emerging Ottoman state and Byzantine territories. The leader of the Kayi tribe is supported by his two noble wives, Bala Hatun and Malhun Hatun, as well as his sons, whom he must protect from his enemies.

The fourth season of “The Ottoman” will premiere on the Romantic TV Channel on December 16 at 4:00 PM Moscow time. It will air on weekdays, with two episodes shown daily.

The series has been broadcast on the Turkish channel ATV since 2019 and is still ongoing. Over the years, the project and its cast have received dozens of awards in Turkey. The role of Osman is consistently played by Burak Özçivit, who is also renowned for his roles in “Magnificent Century,” “Çalıkuşu” (“The Wren”), and “Kara Sevda” (“Endless Love”).
