Filming of the second season of TNT’s reality show “Emperor’s Treasures” has begun in China, and it promises to not only surpass the scale of the first season but also become one of the most grandiose projects ever filmed for Russia!
According to the show’s rules, stars, paired with partners of their own choosing, undergo challenges as they travel through the Chinese province. They have no phones, don’t know the language, but are determined to win and claim a solid prize. This means the stars will use all their communication skills and cleverness to be the first to complete the tasks. Their goal is to travel from point A to point B. The last pair to finish is eliminated from the project.
This season’s filming is taking place in Henan Province, the most populous province in the world, home to 120 million people—about the same population as all of Russia. This province boasts the modern capital city of Zhengzhou, two of China’s four ancient capitals, Luoyang and Kaifeng, as well as the famous Shaolin Monastery. The monks of the monastery will participate in one of the episodes—making it the most epic shoot in the reality show’s history!
TNT Broadcasting Network will be at the World Content Market – Moscow, offering an excellent opportunity to discuss potential collaborations with one of Russia’s largest entertainment TV channels.
