Iran’s “A Passenger from Ganora” Gains Recognition in Russia

This year, Russian TV channels and OTT platforms will feature several Iranian animation films, reflecting the growing cooperation between Iran and Russia in the entertainment sector.

Notable titles include “A Passenger from Ganora”, which gained recognition at the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival. This film, produced by Soureh Animation Center, the World Content Market’s exhibitor, tells the story of a special boy who, along with aliens, embarks on a quest to find the lost queen of the planet Ganora in order to restore peace to the planet. However, another group of aliens arrives on Earth to thwart this mission. Directed by Abdollah Alimorad, the film is known for its unique storytelling and animation style, which resonated well with international audiences, particularly in Russia.
