The highly anticipated Turkish drama “Reborn” (“Çarpıntı”) will soon premiere on Russian OTT platform Ivi, with new episodes available simultaneously with the Turkish broadcast in simultaneous translation.
Produced by OGM Pictures and directed by Burcu Alptekin, “Çarpıntı” brings together a powerful cast including Kerem Bürsin, Lizge Cömert, Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Deniz Çakır, and Şerif Sezer.
The series follows the intertwined destinies of Aslı, a young woman living with an artificial heart device, her devoted mother Hülya, and the wealthy Alkan family, whose lives are forever changed after a tragic accident. Aslı receives a life-saving heart transplant and is welcomed into the donor’s family home — but tensions arise, especially with Aras, the nephew of the household. What begins as mutual resentment slowly turns into love, until a shocking revelation threatens everything: the girl whose heart now beats in Aslı’s chest was her twin sister.
