Yuncheng Salt Pond has a long history, and during the Han Dynasty, salt officials were set up in Anyi County to manage salt industry affairs.From the legendary Yanhuang Alliance and Chiyou fought in the ” Zhuolu” (turbidity) near Yanchi, to the many legends of Yao, Shun and Yu in the Southwestern Shanxi , and then to the development and prosperity of the Xia , Shang and Zhou dynasties in Hedong ,Heluo and Guanzhong regions,they are all within hundreds of miles around Yanchi in Hedong.
