Born in Lucca in 1968, educated at the University, of Pisa and University of Cambridge (UK), Andrea Colombini started his career in musical organization in 1991. Since then he has produced more than 16,000 shows and concerts, many of them acting also as conductor as well as production manager and musical assistant. During his 23-year activity, he has created 8 festivals, the most important of which, PUCCINI E LA SUA LUCCA International festival founded in 2004 – has reached full international prominence for being the only present Festival dedicated to Giacomo Puccini in his native city, Lucca, and the only permanent festival in world, with concerts and events every single day of the year. As a, conductor, he started his activity, in 1994 and since then he has conducted almost 200 performances both in Opera and Symphonic repertoire, working both in Italy and Abroad (UK, Bulgaria, Egypt, France) but mainly restricting his work mainly to the

performances for the PUCCINI E LA SUA LUCCA Festival, for which he leads on operatic/symphonic season of 15 concerts every year. In 2013 he successfully, conducted the Orchestra at the Vienna Musikverein, performing Puccini’s music and in, 2014/19 he realized with the orchestra more than 120 concerts and 53 new music films dedicated mainly to ltalian operatic music and international symphonic repertoire.
