Survey shows that the number of multi-cultural families in Korea exceeded 380 thousand in

2010. However, cultural and language gaps are causing divorce rates to rise and in fact, in

2011, multi-cultural families account for 12.6% of the entire divorce rate in Korea. Korea’s ten

years of multi-cultural society! Are they happy now?

While multi-cultural families preserve Korea’s culture even better than us, their marital conflict

is much more difficult and arduous compared to Korean couples. Documentary movie, ‘One

more try’, captures the everyday life of the members of multi-cultural families through a monologue

and their own perspective, allowing us to reaffirm that they are members of our society.
