Didier Lockwood trio invite Biréli Lagrène

The violinist king of improvisation invites the spiritual son of Django Reinhardt. Former member of Magma, the jazz-fusion formation of the legendary drummer Christian Vander, Didier Lockwood has repeatedly, in forty years of career, worked with artists from very different universes. For this concert in Coutances, the violinist invited the guitar virtuoso Biréli Lagrène, considered by his peers as one of the most worthy heirs of Django Reinhardt, founding father of gypsy jazz. The two accomplices (this is not the first time they play together), are joined by Fiona Monbet, Franco-Irish violinist trained in Dammarie-les-Lys and Darryl Hall, major double bassist of the European stage.
