Historical drama
Action takes place at the beginning of the 17th century amid civil strife among the Kazakh sultans and biys (judges). During the absence of a single ruler and the universal vulnerability, Kazakh lands are attacked by various foreign tribes. People start to look up to the Batyrs (Braves – heroes of that times), who inspire the vulnerable nation with their bravery and wisdom. The picture focuses on the importance of keeping a nation united and how internal discord can destroy a whole nation.
