“The 6th post” series is based on the real-life events: it is 2010, 21 prisoners escape from a strict regime colony. A 19-year-old ordinary conscript stood at the guard post and wasn’t afraid to resist the bandits.
The main idea of the film is to show the modern heroes of Kazakhstan, inspire the soldiers of the National Guard, showing brave figures as an example for youth. 80% of the characters in the series are real prison staff and the National Guard soldiers. The “The 6th post” serial film received the award of “TEFI-Commonwealth” at the international television festival in Kishinev in 2019.
