Historical drama
The principal character of a picture is Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Hero of the USSR. This picture describes the events since the Major General Panfilov arrival in Alma-Ata. That’s when Lieutenant Momyshuly takes control of a whole battalion. But who would know it was his battalion to defend Moscow…. The «Hihgway of Volokalamsk» film was named the best in the «Defender of Moscow» special nomination at the International Film Festival in Sevastopol in 2014.
